Rutland Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in Rutland, VT and surrounding communities. Services include, but are not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related work.

All services are performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable Vermont contractor licensing requirements. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates provided by Rutland Insulation are based on information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Estimates are not final contracts. The final price may change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project, or if materials costs change between the estimate and the project start date.

We will notify you of any material price changes before proceeding with additional work. You have the right to approve or decline changes to the original scope before we move forward. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred.

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will contact you as early as possible in those situations.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects.
• Final payment is due upon completion of work.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate.

Unpaid balances may be subject to a late payment charge. We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid amounts through lawful means.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your property and project needs when requesting an estimate or scheduling services. You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and that any required preparations described by our crew are completed before the scheduled start time. Failure to prepare the work area may result in delays or additional charges.

For spray foam insulation projects, you and all occupants (including pets) must vacate the property during installation and for the re-entry period specified by the installer. We are not responsible for adverse effects resulting from failure to follow re-entry instructions.

7. Warranty Disclaimers

We stand behind the quality of our work. Any specific warranty terms will be provided in writing at the time of your project completion. In the absence of a specific written warranty:

• We do not guarantee specific energy savings amounts, as actual results depend on your home, usage habits, and other factors outside our control.
• Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's own terms.
• Our website content is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of information on our site.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rutland Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, your reliance on information provided on our site, or the performance of services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for those specific services.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in Rutland, VT before pursuing any court action, except where prohibited by law.
